Born in Texas and raised in the Adirondack mountains, Jeremy Yaddaw is a drummer and percussionist now based in New York City. His skills are broad, ranging from pop, to jazz and big-band music, to classical percussion, to ’90s grunge, to bluegrass. He is particularly at home in the New York theater scene and enjoys collaborating with composers and singer/songwriters, both on stage and in the studio.
Jeremy can regularly be seen playing at venues like Joe’s Pub, Feinsteins/54 Below, Le Poisson Rouge, The Cutting Room, and the Laurie Beechman Theatre. He also plays with the Patriot Brass Ensemble, New York’s Best Musicians, and for Rosie’s Theater Kids, and is principal percussionist for The American Pops Orchestra, based in Washington, DC.
In addition to a long history providing music preparation and arranging services, Jeremy also offers consultation services to composers, music directors, arrangers, and copyists on creating idiomatic and effective drum charts.
